The Mayor's Office focuses on basic public service and improving the quality of life for all of Honolulu's citizens including ensuring public safety; repairing and maintaining roads; maintaining parks and other public facilities; improving sewer system and managing solid waste and recycling; improving traffic and public transportation (bus, boat, handivan, rail), providing community services to those in need. Mayor submits proposed bills to City Council.
