Islands Hospice, certified by Medicare and nationally accredited by the Community Health Accreditation Program (CHAP), is a local, nonprofit hospice provider that focuses on the needs of terminally-ill patients and their loved ones. Services can be provided to patients in their home, assisted living facility, nursing home, or their dedicated 7-bed hospice home in central Kahului. In addition to serving the entire Island of Maui, Islands Hospice also provides their compassionate services to the entire Island of Oahu. The goal of Islands Hospice is to continue to make a difference to their patients and to their patients’ families during their end-of-life moments by enabling them to live life to the fullest in secure and familiar surroundings with those who matter most - family and friends.
