Description:
Mandated by the Older Americans Act and HRS 349, the LTCOP advocateon behalf of residents of nursing homes, assisted living facilities, adult residential care homes, expanded adult residential care homes and community care foster family homes throughout the state. We utilize volunteers o make weekly visits to facilities to talk story with residents, find out if they have any concerns, keep their identities confidential if requested, and do exit interviews with staff to discuss those concerns and work together to resolve them to the satisfaction of the resident.
Kauai Hours of Operation: 7:45 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
