Kuakini Home - Provides 24-hour care including meals, personal care and access to recreational/leisure activities in a supervised home-like setting; an assisted living option providing access to services that help maintain one’s physical, emotional and spiritual well-being.
Intermediate Care Facility (ICF) - A State-licensed facility that provides health monitoring and medical services to individuals with physical, and/or mental conditions requiring care beyond what can be offered within their own home; services include supervised nursing care, therapeutic/leisure activities, dietary services, and access to additional care at the recommendation of a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers.
Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) - A State-licensed facility that provides services to individuals who need specialized nursing care, rehabilitation services, and 24-hour health monitoring, as well as to individuals who have a chronic illness and do not require the daily care of a physician.
Short-term Respite Services - Respite Services are offered at the care home level only. Kuakini Home provides temporary living alternatives for seniors while their caregivers are on leave. Arrangements can be made for a few days to a few months.
Hospice Services - Additional end-of-life support services are available in Kuakini’s Intermediate Care Facility (ICF) and Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF). These services are provided by specialized caregivers who provide support for both residents and their caregivers.
