Whether you care for a parent, spouse, friend, or someone who lives at home, in a nursing home, in another state or country, Powerful Tools for Caregivers (PTC) is designed to help caregivers of frail elders or dependent adults...like you.
PTC is a 6-class workshop that provide caregivers with tools that help caregivers to: Take care of yourself; Reduce personal stress; Set goals; Solve problems; Reduce guilt, anger, and depression; Make tough decisions; Change negative self-talk; & Communicate effectively with family, health care workers and others.
Thanks to funding from the Maui County Office on Aging, this class is free to all participants. Pre-registration is required; call Heather Greenwood, UH Cooperative Extension, 244-3242 ext 226 or 269-7396 for additional information and registration.
